Not because this is “so good for our image”. We believe that we as human beings are guests on this earth, and that we should therefore also behave as guests. That means: treating the earth, the climate, the living environment and all its inhabitants with respect. We therefore believe that if we can make the earth a little more livable and leave it for the future, we are obliged to do so, and that we should commit ourselves to it. What do we do for that? As of February 27, 2015, our kilns will run entirely on solar energy generated by the solar panels on our own roof! We do as much as possible to reuse glaze and use water economically in the production process. When using all our raw materials, we opt for as few environmentally harmful substances as possible. Through membership / donorship of various charitable organizations active in the field of the environment, human rights, nature, animal welfare, project support in developing countries, etc. (see our "links" page) we try to do our part to make the world “a little bit better”.
